The City of Phoenix, in partnership with the Grand Avenue Merchants Association, completed significant improvements between 7th Avenue and 15th Avenue that include on-street parking, green bike lanes, bike racks, new LED lighting, decorative crosswalks designed by Bob Graham of Motley Design Group, and beautiful, low water use desert plants that will keep our Avenue vital and beautiful all year round.

Join Phoenix City Councilman Michael Nowakowski, Grand Avenue Merchants Association, and community members to celebrate the transformation of lower Grand Avenue. These improvements represent significant progress toward our plans as submitted for the Greening America’s Capitals EPA grant award, an $80,000 grant recently received by the neighborhood. These plans will be on display during the 5th Annual Grand Avenue Festival, at Motley Design group located at 1114 NW Grand Avenue.
